What I will miss most about Indiana is the weather. The skies waver between cloudy or bright, pounding hail or sticky sunshine. While Californians are suffering a heatwave, I am relishing the variety. Hopefully I didn’t jinx myself.
P.S. If you haven’t heard yet, I will be back in the Golden State in early September.
On the Fourth of July, I took a picture of my Indy roommate Bridget’s thumbs up, and she has told me to post it on my blog ever since.
Finally, I oblige.

I went to Target yesterday when it hit me: I am finished with school. As I trolled through the 10-color marker sets, collegiate lined paper and mechanical pencils, I realized back-to-school sales no longer apply to me. Maybe I’ll need school supplies again someday, but not this sale season.
| Bridget and I visited the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis today. It was huge and full of hands-on exhibits. While we are both playful by nature, that wasn’t why we went. Bridget is fond of the artist Dale Chihuly, and he has his largest blown glass installation in this museum.
We saw a documentary about how he does it, as each twist is a different piece of blown glass he and his team created. |

(Note: Pictures also include photos of Bridget and I running from dinosaurs, having fun on Seasame Street and pretending to be archeologists. Enjoy!) |

I found a great place to run not to far from where i live. It’s called pleasant run, and it is pleasant!
