Googling joins the video age

Published by Brea under Uncategorized

I grew up in the Google era, but my main Web search experience has always been limited to text searches and results unless I chose to search for images only or video only. Now everything is clumped together on Google’s main results page, according to an article in the San Francisco Chronicle and tons of other places on the Google News list.

Video is still sorely lacking in a lot of news media, but I wonder if the way we search for information will impact the information we seek. I rarely look for video, but if it pops up, I’ll probably watch it. Is this another step in the evolution of video on the Web?
